Potato Head story

  Potato Head was going back home after one more boring day after school. He said goodbye to Mr. Blue Jeans and started to walk on his way back home. After walking a couple blocks, he saw a guy riding something different, made of wood and with some wheels. He liked that, even being an unusual thing. And that guy whose name is Mr. Purple Leaves showed him and explained him that it was a skateboard. So after that Mr. Purple Leaves invited Potato Head to try skateboarding some other day. Potato head was a bit confused. He didn't know Mr. Purple Leaves, and skateboarding wasn't a common thing to do. But Mr. Purple Leaves convinced him to try it out later.
 After getting home, Potato Head called Mr. Blue Jeans to tell him about Mr. Purple Leaves and his plans on skateboarding. Mr Blue Jeans was jealous about it, and told Potato Head that it wasn't a good idea. Potato Head was already sure about what he wanted to do, and he didn't cared about Mr. Blue Jeans opinion. It was the first time that Potato Head was doing what he really wanted to do.
 So the next day Potato Head left school, that he didn't really like, all the people there were into gossiping and talking behind people`s back.  He went to a nice neighborhood to meet Mr. Purple Leaves and try skateboarding. So when he got there he started trying it out. At some point a girl showed up with a camera and asked them both to take some pictures of what they were doing. That girl was Banana Girl, a photographer and arts lover. After taking a couple pictures they got to talk to her. They talked for a long time and after that day they were all friends.
 The next day he went to school with a skateboard and people started looking at him as if he were a strange. Mr. Blue Jeans told everybody about Potato Head`s new friends. He was doing something different from what all the other people at his school usually do. Potato Head felt bad because of all that people talking about him. He was just being himself but people didn't like that.
 Potato Head was still hanging out with Mr. Purple Leaves and Banana Girl. He was learning new things and doing just what he wanted to do. Mr. Purple Leaves introduced him to rock music and he liked it much more then Justin Bieber tunes that he used to listen with his classmates.
 He was living happier days and even his parents noticed that. His mom and dad both liked to know that he was listen to some good rock songs and practicing skateboard which is an outdoor activity.
 The only issue was that his old friends at school were making fun of him now.
 But after some time he learned to stop paying attention to others opinion and just keep being the one he wanted to be. After learning to deal with that, his old friends stopped making fun of him and even tried skating and listening to rock music.

Eddie's Journey

Chapter One

Once, there was a water drop - his name was Eddie - who was floating in the sea. On a beautiful day, I guess it was sometime in May, he met a small fish which was so gorgeous that Eddie was just tongue-tied. The abundance of colours created a cheerfulness that vastly fascinated everyone in the near environment. Eddie, already feeling pretty nervous,couldn’t afford to get into a conversation with a stranger and thus began bouncing around hectically.

But the fish didn’t feel hindered because of Eddie’s behaviour and just swam across the next sea plant to introduce itself to Eddie. “Hey, I’m Shawn!,” he said, “how ‘r things going?”... Eddie, still being taken by surprise and having a touch of anxiety, didn’t really know that to answer but squeezed out a little “Well, couldn’t be better...” and went on swimming nervously around. “Doesn’t really seem so,” responded the fish, “you seem a little uptight...” - “I, ehm” - “... and maybe a little overexcited?” - “Well... ehm...,” stuttered Eddie, not really knowing what to say. “I’m going on a journey...” - “What kind of journey?” asked the fish, “I see you guys travelling in the sea all day long, so that’s why I’m asking”. Eddie couldn’t use this conversation by no means but now he had to speak out what depressed him the last couple of weeks. In fact, he felt a little bit happy, now to have this opportunity and share his inner fears. “Frankly speaking, I’m going on a long journey - I’ll leave the sea, and I can’t really  state I’m happy to..” - “Leave the sea..?” interrupted the fish, “nobody can leave the sea as long as you don’t have wings” - “that’s not right” said Eddie with a hint of a sigh in his voice - “Come on..,” said the fish grinning, “I assure you it is, I just learned that in physics. It’s because of gravitation - everything that has  mass is pulled down to the earth.” Eddie started laughing and he said to the fish: ”Then this is gonna be a big day for you.” He rounded off his sentence with a big smile and continued: “If something pretty energized hits me, it can lift me to very high altitudes”. “Makes sense”, admitted the fish. “Was nice meeting you,” said Eddie, totally interrupting the flow of conversation. “Wait what?”, said the fish, totally surprised by the sudden ending of their talk. “Well, I gotta go now” said Eddie promptly, “I would like to stay but I couldn’t choose the time. They don’t have any schedules whatsoever - it’s absolutely randomized.” - “Ah, I see. Will you come back?” asked the fish, apparently satisfied with the explanation Eddie gave him before. “I really don’t know,” said Eddie and swam around the fish. He usually did that because he was obviously too small for a proper hug. “See you!” said Eddie and was suddenly hit by a beam of light. He shot upwards and out of the water like a bullet blurring with the air so the fish couldn’t see him anymore. 

He didn't feel jealous but excited. And there was that inner feeling of loneliness; they just became friends and were separated unexpectedly - that was what made him sad.

Louise the King

Long time ago in a very large savana, there was a lion who owned all the land. His name was Louise, and he thought he was the strongest lion in the world. One day, Louise came to Windy, a wise turtle that he always asks before doing something.

Louise said "I want to have all the lands in Africa." to her.

Windy said " That is not the right thing to do. And you are going to put the animals in danger."

He said " Do you think I am not strong enough  to do this?"

Ignoring what she told him, he started to prepare for the war. He took many animals and went to the other savana. Many animals died on the way to the war because of the lack of water. Louise didn't care about what had happened, and continued their way. Once they got to the area they wanted to attack, all animals living there, knowing that Louise wanted their land, already prepared for the war completely. Tired from the long trip, and with the lost of many animals, Louise lost the war, got injured, and ran away from the battle field.

With shame and sadness, he went back to his land, he came to windy and he was very upset.

Windy said " You lost the war, right? "

With full of guilt, he replied " Yes"

" You should have satisfied with what you had at that time and listened to other's advice." Windy said.

Patty & Antoine's story

One day, after a rainy morning, Elmo and his friend Octopus were playing in the mud.

After playing for a while, Elmo and Octopus were very dirty. When all of a sudden a Princess passed by them. Elmo fell in love at first sight. But the Princess didn't pay attention to him because he was so dirty.

Elmo knew there was a party at the castle that night so the Princess would be there. He rushed home and cleaned himself as much as he could : from toothpaste to nail polish. After all that, he was looking perfect.

Before going to the party, Elmo asked his friend Octopus -who was also a magician- to send the Princess a magical letter that would turn into a bouquet of roses.

When Elmo arrived, the Princess had already received the letter. They danced together the whole night and at midnight they finally kissed. After that night, they lived happily ever after and had lots of children.

My newly inspiration

One of the things that gave me a big inspiration is coming to  SF. Since I came here,I continued learning new stuff in many fields.i  learned how to communicate with people from other countries such as chines,Korean and Russians as well as the Americans . I also learned how to continue learning by searching around and reading more.i learned how to depended on my self. I can go any where with out the help of others.finaly , I'm a good cook know.

Never Lose Hope

When I saw this video at the first time in high school, I cried so much because it made me think that nothing is impossible if we are determined to reach our desires.

Who did not think this way once in his life or even heard someone saying it? Sometimes life sucks and we become hopeless. We close our eyes for any glimmer of hope. Suddenly a strong light comes and force us to look at it, rethink, and bring us back to hope, but what if this light never showed up. We will then have to make it by ourselves to lift ourselves out from the dark shadow we live in.

The most inspiring movie in my life.

This movie inspired me a lot.
The story is about deaf baseball players. Kim who is the professional baseball player is sent to high-school in the countryside to direct for deaf players. At first, his purpose is spending time and going back to the team which is he played before, so he didn't care about the deaf players and didn't teach anything. Even though he didn't care for them, the players practice really hard. It makes him feel shame and then he saw their possibility. After that he start to coach the players and train very strongly. Because of his help, they get hope that they could play at high-school league.

This movie shows that disability is not problem, even they can do everything they want. It changed my steriotype of disable people. I recognized that they can do if they make up their mind. From wathing that movie, I donated some money to support disable people to get hope.

Crowd funding

Have you ever had a great idea but ended up dropping it because you didn't have enough money to make it come true ? Well, your days of lazyness are now over.

Crowd funding is a way to gather money to achieve your dreams. It relies on donations from people around the world : all you have to do is write a small post explaining your goal and why you think this is important and then specify the amount of money needed. If people share your opinion or support you they will make a donation.

People use crowd funding for versatile reasons. Some people want to shoot a movie or start touring with their band, others need money in order to pay expansive medical bills, etc. NGOs use crowd funding to financiate their help campaign in third world countries as well.

If you take a look at the different crowd funding websites ( for ex http://crowdfunding.com/ ), you'll propably be amazed at how many projects you can find and support there.

So if you feel like helping someone in need one day, be sure to check those websites as they might provide you with specific projects you are interested in and that you would like to see come true.

Where to find inspiration?

To say that inspiration is imoprtant part of our life is to say nothing. Humanity could evolve only beacause of inspiration. The desire to live and to make your life better is encouraging us for big achievements.

My inspiration is always around me, I just have to notice and catch it. It can be sunny morning, land breez, my sleepy cat, healthy breakfast, the news and so on. Every day I receive a lot of information from my friends, parents, teachers, strangers, city, nature, the world and so on, and after having mixed all assets and liabilities of events, happened around me, I'm inspiring for improving myself in case to fit to this world or to make the world better.

The attached video, Bloodrop HD 2D,  became one of my inspirations. I found the idea to transfer 2D world into 3D very creative and inovative. I'd never seen something similar before. The quality of this video is also high, and while I was watching the movie, I started to beleive in the 2D reality.

For me, as for a movie maker, this video is very inspiring, because after having seen such the good idea, I started creating my own ones and I beleived that I could realize them, especialy when I knew that the author of this perfomanes is a Russian guy, Alexey Popogrebsky. I thought, if someone in Russia can do a good product, why can't I do the same? And if there are a lot of proffessional, good quality media products in Russia, it can change common opinion about Russian movie makers.

I started blasting through education, practice and learning new information in movie making area as much as possible. Now, I find new inspiration in different artworks, but this one will be one of the most motivative, because it was the first that pushed me to my breakthrough.

Solving inner and outer isolation

Doesn't everybody have the inner feeling to do good things? Don't people have the inherit feeling of finding good places they can store their money at?

Although these questions seem to be easily answerable, most people don't really know how to pursue their own interests while maintaining these goals. Especially moral norms are pushed aside quite frequently - people have their repeating day schedules, try to blast through their work but often get stuck consequently. Time is a rare thing in an entirely globalized world in which people have modified their living styles towards working mashines that are thoroughly efficient in whatever they do. This fact drastically collides with the basic human idea of doing good things as often as possible, helping out society and community, and hinders improvement because men thus have isolated themselves from each other and are neglecting others' needs.

Secondly, nowadays' globalization excludes certain regions and countries. Although there are several mentionable attempts to bypass this effect, the situation doesn't seem to change within the upcoming future. Additionally, technology, innovation and wealth is generally only dissimulated among globalised countries such as the U.S., Europe, the tiger states of Asia and certain South American countries like Brazil. Considering there are over 200 officially recognized countries, it's obviously pretty easy to prove that lots of countries don't get a share of the cake and are just left aside by the international community.

In a nutshell, there are two different problems of huge regard that don't seem to be related to each other. Think again! Both problems are generally caused by the overambitious attempt to excel in modern society while polarizing both population and society. Although the former seems to be more personal-related, the latter shouldn't be disregarded. People really can do something to tackle both issues in one attempt and thus kill two birds with one stone. In the end they'd feel better and had done something good for everybody. This solution is called www.kiva.org. By subscribing on this website, people can donate/invest money in development countries. Gustave!

I was thrilled watching the movie Primeval which was on air in 2007 (I was 16 at that time). It was about a giant man-eating crocodile named Gustave chasing, ambushing, killing, and eating humans.

This would not be worth remembering about if the beast was fake since the movie was really not that intense. Fact is, this 6-meter crocodile truly exists and is the true ruler of the Nile river. There are a few larger crocodiles around the world (I think they caught one that weighs more than 1 ton and is over 7 meter long), but this beast already killed and consumed more than 300 humans. Quite impressive!

Gustave since then has been the major source for my interest and motivation to learn more about the nature. Well, do not misunderstand me, I'm totally against canniblism and beasts devourving human flesh. I'm just simply amazed by Gustave's existence, similar to how we humans have amazing people like Napoleon or Chuck Norris. Gustave inspires me to watch and read all videos and articles from National Geographic which somehow helps me improve my English skills.

To conclude, Gustave will forever be my most favorite animal. Thank you for the inspiration that drives me to learn more about the nature and at the same time to develop my English. I wish Eriko's Pikachu was real, so I could let Gustave swallow it lol.

Our important life

When I was a university student, one of my friends had a baby but she was too young to raise a baby so she aborted the baby illeaglly. I went to doctor office with her. I  saw my friends had three wound because the nusre was not good at ingecting. At that time, I was very upset because we couldn't tell anyone and we couldn't go to a better hospital. Becasue of this story, I become more sensitive about life especailly my parents'. That's why I cried last presentation. I don't know whether it is because of my friend's story or becasue I grow up and I am more mature.  After this, my classmate's mother past away when we had to take a big exam to go to study master. Actually, we were not closed friend, but I still felt very depressed. I don't know about you but I know that our lives are very important including other animal. Please care more about your friends and parents. My friend and my classmate inspired me to care more about my friends and parents.

How many times we complain about life and how dificult life is? Probably we complain more than we are thankful for everything that happen with us.
Take a few minutes to watch this videos and think about what would you do in this situations? Would you just accept what the world gives to you or would you fight for what u want?
